This coffee bar is part of a Milanese chain. They have waiter service,
great coffee and excellent cakes. On Midland Square, 2nd floor. Around
1300-1500yen for the coffee and cake set.
FORTNUM AND MASON CONCEPT SHOP
If you want an English afternoon tea, this is the place to go. Expect to
pay a bit more for the privilege. They also have a wide range of cakes and
tarts. Two outlets: One is on the first floor of LA CHIC center in the middle
of Sakae. The other is in the basement of Midland square.
Cafe Du Ciel – (Nagoya Station)
For a fantastic view of Nagoya’s station area, head up to Cafe du Ciel on the 51st floor of the JR Nagoya Station tower. To get up there, you need to go to Towers dining mall on the 12th floor and then transfer to a 2nd elevator. The cafe has a great view and serves pretty good coffee, cakes and also Belgian waffles. They also do a nice afternoon sandwich and drink set for 1050Yen. Cakes and Teas from 500 yen.Due to it’s superb location and reasonable prices, it is a very popular spot, so expect queues at the weekend.
